Well there is no good excuse, I am sorry to any of the people who actually read this, but who I am I kidding, it is probably just Chris! :) I do have a number of pictures and fun things we have done lately to blog about, but frankly I have not made the time to do it.
Lately I have been looking into my future, which is hard because I have some key things I need to finish for my dissertation, but I don't want to finish my defense with no where to go either! So I actually had and accidental interview the other week, yeah it was accidental because I thought I was just going to a informational meeting, but turns out it was more an interview. It was fine, cause well I think it went pretty well! :) I have finished my CV so I am charging forward ready to figure out what my next adventure will be.
On the home front, we have been so-so busy with things, we went up to our cabin for 10 days, had some fantasy football drafts lately, hanging out/unpacking/occupying my niece by my sister's new place, a trip to the zoo with friends, my mom's birthday, more fantasy football drafts, it has been a fun few weeks. I am writing this while at work so don't have any pictures, but I will try to catch up on some posts of all our fun times lately in a few new posts to come.
Oh yeah, and I also got mildly engrossed in the Fifty Shades trilogy, so I had to finish those and that took some blogging time, sorry I am a sucker for those bandwagony books.... and fantasy/out of the norm romance type things. I enjoyed it a lot, it was not as bad crazy scandalous as it was hyped up to be in my opinion, I like the back story of the characters and their working through their life. So if you have any books to recommend to me I would love it! :)
